in terms of Role Playing games in general, a Dump Stat is a character stat thats generally useless to a Player class and is therefore ignored when choosing the highest rolls being assigned. Your Barbarian probably wont need that Intelligence modifier so assign him a 6... what could go wrong? Just choose the right size. Size is never a good dump stat
